Boobs and Booze

The Boobs and Booze series continues to be successful.  I try to capture the special and unique things about your friendships.
This is the first time I put six friends together:

This was a gift for a significant birthday.  The friend picked out the drink, the clothes and the location that reminded her of her friend.

Spoleto Festival Charleston, S.C.

The Spoleto Festival is in Charleston on May 23 -June 7.  I will be in Marion Square with over 70 juried artists.  There are  as many as 200 events a day - many are free.  It's well worth the trip to Charleston.  I hope you will come visit me.
Here is a sampling of what I will have for sale.

"Tourist Trap"  A carriage ride is a must for visiting tourist.

"Village Greeting"  These are the faces that greeted me when I visited a village in Senegal, Africa.

"Snooty on Broad"  Broad Street in Charleston was voted the most desirable street to live on in the U.S. 

Sunshine, Warmth, and Hope

We are having a relatively warm day.  It gives me hope that sunshine and warmth are on the horizon.  We will be seeing scenes like this soon.

Sweet Treats

I saw this little girl in NYC last summer.  I snapped her picture while she was pondering her decision at the pastry counter.  I struggled with the light sources of cool, harsh light from the display case and the summer light coming from the window.  She was delightful to paint.  We can all relate to her excitement that makes her dance in her skin.
